How users enter Sicket
Sicket users join through self-serve organization onboarding, invitation acceptance, or building self-join flows. During account creation, users are shown the privacy policy and terms before their account is created. Operational communication categories start enabled so expected housing emails can work immediately, and users can manage those preferences afterward in the dashboard. Sicket product updates remain optional and require an explicit opt-in.
Operational email categories
Users can opt out of specific operational categories, including info announcements, maintenance announcements, urgent announcements, news & updates emails, and newsletter emails. Ticket emails and reminder emails are controlled separately.
Sicket product updates
Sicket product updates are separate from customer operational emails. They are optional, off by default, and require an explicit opt-in from the user. Sicket does not use purchased third-party marketing lists.
How users manage preferences
Users can review and update their communication preferences at any time inside the dashboard at dashboard.sicket.app/settings?tab=notifications .
